NSW massage therapist becomes first woman to row across the Pacific Ocean

A massage therapist from Sydney has become the first woman to row solo across the Pacific Ocean – encountering five hurricanes and four cyclones in the process.

50-year-old Michelle Lee began her journey on the coast of Mexico and headed across 14,000 kilometres to far north Queensland – spending a total of 237 days unassisted at sea.
